The Iframe, a Toast or the Carousel isn't appearing on a page — check these in order.
⚡ Quick checks
- Open the page in a private or incognito window. Cached versions of a page can hide a change for hours. If it appears in private mode, it's working — the cache will catch up.
- Confirm the page is published, not just saved. Most CMSs separate the two.
- Confirm the code is on that page. View the page source (right-click → View page source) and search for
tribe. If it isn't there, the paste didn't stick — go back to Embedding, copy again and re-paste.
- Ask your web team about a Content-Security-Policy. If your site uses one, it must allow
https://app.tribeadmissions.comfor scripts and frames, or the browser blocks the embed.
The Iframe doesn't appear
Why this happens: the code was pasted into a text block rather than a code or HTML block, and the CMS turned it into plain text or stripped the <script> tag.
How to fix it:
- In your website editor, delete the pasted text.
- Add a block of the type your CMS uses for raw code: usually called HTML, Custom HTML, Code or Embed.
- Paste the snippet from Embedding → Full Iframe Integration into that block.
- Publish and check in a private window.
How to avoid it next time: always paste embed code into a code block, never a text block.
The Iframe appears but shows no ambassadors, or the wrong ones
Why this happens: the snippet carries a filter, or every matching ambassador is hidden.
How to fix it:
- In Embedding → Full Iframe Integration, check whether a Question and Answer are selected. If this page should show everyone, clear them and copy the code again.
- On the Ambassadors page, check that ambassadors who should appear aren't hidden (faded in card view, or Unhide in their actions).
The Iframe appears in the wrong language
Why this happens: embeds follow the language of the page they sit on, read from the page's <html lang> attribute.
How to fix it: ask whoever manages your site to set lang correctly on that page, for example <html lang="nl">. See the Languages article.
A Toast doesn't appear
Why this happens, most often: the Toast code was pasted into the page body rather than just before </body>, or into a code block that only loads inside part of the page.
How to fix it:
- Copy the Toast's code again from Embedding → Saved Toasts.
- Paste it at the very end of the page, immediately before the closing
</body>tag. In many CMSs this is a footer scripts or before body end setting rather than a content block.
- Publish and open the page in a private window. Wait a few seconds — the Toast slides in after the page has loaded.
Also check: the Toast's filter still matches at least one visible ambassador. A Toast filtered to an answer nobody has shows nothing. Embedding → Saved Toasts shows a warning on any Toast in that state.

The Toast appears but clicking it does nothing
Why this happens: the Toast links through to your Iframe page. If that page has moved or isn't published, the button leads nowhere.
How to fix it: confirm the Iframe page is live, then contact your Account Manager if the Toast still doesn't link to it.
The Carousel doesn't appear
Same cause and fix as the Iframe: paste the code into a code or HTML block at the position where the Carousel should sit, not into a text block.
