As a platform admin, you’re the captain of the ship! You have full control over which ambassadors represent your institution on Tribe. This guide covers how to invite new members, manage their public presence, and keep your ambassador list up to date.
✉️ Inviting New Ambassadors
You can expand your team at any time by sending out new invites.

- Automated Outreach: Once invited, the platform automatically sends an invitation email to the ambassador.
- Hidden Mode: New profiles appear immediately in your Ambassador Tab but are set to 'Hidden' by default. This allows the ambassador to complete their details and gives you the opportunity to review the profile before it goes live to the public.
✍️ Editing Profiles
To ensure your institution's brand remains consistent, admins have the ability to modify ambassador profiles directly. Whether you need to fix a typo or update a bio:
- Navigate to the Ambassadors tab.
- Click the Pencil Icon next to the ambassador's name.
- Make the necessary edits and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Done! Your updates are live instantly.
👁️ Hiding & Unhiding Ambassadors
There may be times when you want to temporarily hide an ambassador from public view—for example, if they are on holiday, away for exams, or currently inactive.
- To Hide: Click the Eye Icon next to the ambassador’s name. The eye icon will switch to a Closed Eye Icon, and the profile will appear blurred in your list. The profile will be hidden from all prospects and other ambassadors.
- To Unhide: When they are ready to return, click the Closed Eye Icon to make the profile visible again.
Note: Any active conversations the ambassador has will remain live and accessible, even while their profile is hidden.
🗑️ Removing an Ambassador
When an ambassador graduates or concludes their term, you can permanently remove them from the platform.
- Open the ambassador’s profile by clicking the Pencil Icon.
- Scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and select Delete.
Heads up! This action is permanent and will delete all of their account information. Make sure you're ready to say goodbye!
